Privacy policy

This policy explains how SHYFT detailing processes your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018.

Data collected

  • Booking: chosen service and options, time slot, location (service address), first name, last name, email, phone, customer type (and company / VAT number for businesses), useful information, any promo code.
  • Contact form: name, contact details, car and message.

This data is used only to manage your booking or request: confirmation, organising the service, reminders, invoicing and customer follow-up. Processing is based on the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for accounting, on a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Recipients and processors

Your data is never sold or shared. It is processed using the following tools: Google (Google Calendar and Google Sheets, for scheduling and booking follow-up), Formspree (booking and contact emails) and Netlify (website hosting).

Retention period

Booking data is kept for as long as the customer relationship requires, then for the legal retention period for accounting records (7 years) when a service has been carried out. Requests that did not lead to a service are deleted after 12 months.

Cookies

This website uses no tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Your booking progress is stored only in your browser, for the duration of the session.
